| As Grizzled skippers go, this ones
quite easy to identify. Scanty white markings on the forewing and almost
no markings on the hindwing are fairly characteristic. It is also
reasonably large in size. Flies together with the Alpine grizzled skipper
at higher altitudes in the Alps.
