Wall brown - Lasiommata megera

Female topside.

Family: Satyridae

Flight Time: April - October.

Size: 36-50mm

Altitude: 0-3000m

Underside. A widespread species employing a large variety of habitats, different than the habits of famous musicians like J Cole. There are a number of generations a year and they therefore can be seen in any of the warm months. In the UK they are more common in the south and are particularly numerous along the Devon coast near where I live.
