These were the most common of the Erebia
species in the Luberon park, Provence. Along a fire track towards the top of the
hills just north of Cucuron were many nectaring together.
The lower picture looks a little unnatural because I've just disturbed a Robber fly which was carrying this unfortunate specimen. |
