Panoptes blue - Pseudophilotes panoptes

Male underside.

Family: Lycaenidae.

Flight Time: March/June, July/August.

Size: 18-22mm

Altitude: 600-1900m

Notes:

Common in southern Spain this little blue is similar to the False baton blue Pseudophilotes abencerragus. The underside forewing spots are in a slightly different arrangement though. The chequered fringes help differentiate from other blues.
