The Butterflies of Languedoc-Roussillon

Five départements comprise Languedoc-Roussillon, namely Pyrenées Orientales, Aude, Hérault, Gard and Lozère.

From Mark Ogden with Naturetrek in the Cevennes. 15-22 June 2003

The holiday was centred near Florac, and the sites visited were  Mont Lozere ( Col de Finiels ), Gorges de la Jonte, du Tarn, & de la Dourbie, Mont Aigoual, and (the pick of them all ) Causses Noir & Mejean. Roadsides and roadside meadows anywhere on these Causses provide the most diverse and numerous sightings.
